Students can access these activities through a range of programs such as year camps, Duke of Edinburgh Award, ski trips, surfing trips, and caving trips or through specially organised excursion depending on the particular interests of students.

The various programs give students the opportunity to experience activities that they would not normally try. It provides students with the chance to visit some of the most beautiful places on the planet and develop and appreciation for the diverse and fragile ecosystems that make up the Australian Wilderness.

Our outdoor education programs facilitate holistic development of students. They are designed to facilitate both leadership skill development and personal growth, through exposing students to situations and environments that they are not familiar with. It is times of hardship and stress that often bring out the best in an individual. By taking students safely out of their comfort zone as they pursue a goal and then having students reflect on their decision making, feelings and achievements, it is hoped that students will have abetter understanding of themselves and their personal strengths and weaknesses.

Each of our boys who participate in the various programs take different things away with them for life. Some enjoy the experiences; some remember the challenges, some bond with their mates, some learn new skills, some learn to appreciate the environment but all of them learn something about themselves through adventure.
