Homework in the Library

Boys are asked to register with Ms. Rooney as soon as possible and provide a permission note which parents need to sign.

Students will be given a drink and biscuit at 3.30p.m. and will be expected to bring enough work to occupy themselves until 5.00p.m.

Please be aware that these Homework sessions will not used for disciplinary purposes, nor will replace detention. Boys whose behaviour detracts from the learning of others will not be permitted to attend.

Use of the Library as an After School Study Centre proved to be one of our best curriculum initiatives last year. Around twenty members of Years 7 & 8 became “regulars”, and teachers from a variety of Key Learning Areas volunteered to stay after school to provide guidance for boys when needed.

We hope the response this year is equally enthusiastic!

As part of our “duty of care”, we require parental permission for your son to attend these after-school sessions.

Any queries regarding these afternoons may be made to Ms. Judith Rooney, Teacher-Librarian, on 9808 1033.
